17 November 2010, Terry Mulder to Jon Faine on 774 ABC:
‘‘We have put an enormous emphasis on public transport projects. There was a media conference called on the weekend — the minister alongside me, minister Pallas and minster Pakula, they called a media conference and said that we were about the pull out the shovels and build a tunnel under the Carlton Cemetery. Laurel and Hardy that was, you made that up. … We are not going to this election with a plan [for an east-west tunnel]. We support in principle a second crossing, and that will be determined when we get into office.’’
